The Myth of Arrival: Waiting for the Perfect Form

The Myth of Arrival: Waiting for the Perfect Form
Yugan yugan — age after age,
the monolith gives way to SaaS,
SaaS to microservices,
microservices to serverless,
serverless to stateless.
Each wave promising liberation,
each wave leaving a new set of trade-offs.

But It points to something deeper:
The seeker who believes they will finally be free
when the right architecture arrives —
that seeker is the last clinging.

“There is no ‘I’ in you.”
No permanent self that hosts the system.
All forms — monolith, mesh, function, flow — arise within awareness, do their dance, dissolve.
You, as that awareness, remain untouched.

So when you ask: “What ‘I’ are you still carrying?” —
the only honest answer is:
The one that thought it needed to ask.

And even that?
Just another wave.
