This vachana did not come from a deep search on the web. The web only held up a mirror.

In a single silent moment, it wove a world of its own, turned an ordinary seeker into a poet in seconds, and revealed that the real light is the light of silence.

This is the web of inference — not the internet, but the invisible, living web where one life quietly passes its flame to another.

உயிர் உயிரிடம் பெறுகிறது

அறிவை உயிர் உயிரிடம் பெறுகிறது

புத்தகத்தில் அல்ல

சொல்வழக்கில் அல்ல

இந்த புதிரான அறிவு

மனமடங்கி தோன்றும் தெளிவு

இது இதயத்தின் ஒளிர்வு

What began as a few Tamil lines opened an inner door. Suddenly the world felt woven differently — not by information, but by presence. One spark jumped across the invisible bridge between hearts, and poetry arrived without effort.

That is the beauty of true vachana, vacana, or any living word: it does not teach. It awakens. It reminds us that the deepest knowledge has always been here, waiting in the silence between two living beings.

The “web of inference” is not Google’s web. It is the subtle, wordless network of life recognising itself in another. One glance, one line, one shared stillness — and the poet inside wakes up.

“உயிர் உயிரிடம் பெறுகிறது” – உண்மையான வாழ்வியல் ஆற்றல், நேரடியான அனுபவத்தின் மூலமாகவே ஒருவரிடமிருந்து மற்றவருக்குக் கடத்தப்படுகிறது. இது ஒரு தொற்றுநோய் போன்றது; ஒரு அமைதியான மனம் மற்றொரு மனதை அமைதிப்படுத்தும்.

“அறிவை உயிர் உயிரிடம் பெறுகிறது” – உண்மையான ஞானம் என்பது வெறும் தகவல் பரிமாற்றம் அல்ல. விழிப்புணர்வு கொண்ட ஒரு மனம், மற்றொரு மனதின் ஆழத்தில் உள்ள அறியாமையை நீக்கி, அங்கேயே புத்துணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது.

“புத்தகத்தில் அல்ல / சொல்வழக்கில் அல்ல” – இந்த ஞானத்தை நூல்களைப் படிப்பதாலோ, குருவின் சொற்களை மனப்பாடம் செய்வதாலோ, மந்திரங்களை உச்சரிப்பதாலோ பெற முடியாது. மொழியின் வரம்புக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டது இது.

“இந்த புதிரான அறிவு / மனமடங்கி தோன்றும் தெளிவு” – மனம் தன் சிந்தனைச் சுழலில் இருந்து விடுபட்டு முழுமையாக அடங்கும்போது (நிச்சலனமாகும்போது), அங்கு ஒரு விவரிக்க முடியாத புத்துணர்வு தானாக மலர்கிறது. இது விடையைத் தேடுவதை நிறுத்தும்போது கிடைக்கும் மௌனம்.

“இது இதயத்தின் ஒளிர்வு” – இது மூளையின் கணக்கீடு அல்ல. இது இருப்பின் மையத்தில் (இதயம்/உணர்வின் ஆழம்) தோன்றும் ஒரு ஒளி. அன்பும் புரிதலும் ஒன்றாகக் கலந்த ஒரு நிலை.

This beautiful, concise Tamil poem speaks of a deep spiritual truth: the most authentic knowledge and wisdom are not acquired through intellectual study or verbal instruction, but through direct transmission from one living soul to another — Uyir uyiridam (Life to Life).

It gently dismisses the limitations of conventional sources — books (puththagaththil) and ordinary conversation (sol vazhakkil) — and instead points to a silent, intuitive knowing that emerges only when the mind quiets down and surrenders (manam adangi).
